Nyala City in South Darfur State witnessed the convening of a symposium titled “The Role of Youth in Building Sustainable Peace”, initiated by Bawadi Organization for Peace and Development. The event came as part of the resumption of civil activities in the state, which had been suspended since the outbreak of war. The symposium highlighted the importance of youth in rebuilding a society exhausted by conflicts, where opportunities for education and employment were lost, negatively affecting the future of young generations and children.
