The Bawadi for Peace and Development Organization welcomes the implementation of U.S. sanctions imposed on the Sudanese authorities, in light of the Sudanese army’s use of internationally prohibited weapons and its grave violations against civilians, as documented by credible international reports.
The organization considers this measure a necessary step toward ending the ongoing war in Sudan, deterring perpetrators of war crimes, and achieving justice for the victims. It also calls for expanding the scope of accountability to include all those involved in the violations, and for strengthening international efforts to achieve a comprehensive peace that respects the rights and dignity of all Sudanese people.

ترحب منظمة بوادي للسلام والتنمية بدخول العقوبات الأمريكية المفروضة على السلطات السودانية حيز التنفيذ، على خلفية استخدام الجيش السوداني أسلحة محرمة دوليًا وارتكابه انتهاكات جسيمة ضد المدنيين، كما وثّقتها تقارير دولية موثوقة.
تعتبر المنظمة هذا الإجراء خطوة ضرورية نحو وقف الحرب المستمرة في السودان، وردع مرتكبي جرائم الحرب، وتحقيق العدالة للضحايا. كما تدعو إلى توسيع دائرة المساءلة لتشمل جميع المتورطين في الانتهاكات، وتعزيز الجهود الدولية من أجل سلام شامل يحترم حقوق وكرامة جميع السودانيين.
